We are pleased to present our latest collection of exquisite and unique stoneware artifacts which we hope will bring you as much pleasure in viewing as it has brought us in collecting. Most pieces hail from the back roads of Europe and are taken from museum carvings, cookie molds, religious and architectural remnants, and some, as in the case of our Gothic Planter, are original concepts based on antiquity which we could not bring back.
Most of our originals were discovered by two travelers who knew the intricate by-ways of Western Europe. These originals were then faithfully reproduced through the artistry of one of this country's most accomplished moldmakers and each stoneware artifact has been lovingly handcrafted to bring you years of personal enjoyment. The "aged" finish on each piece is our own recipe, designed to maintain the integrity of the concept of old stoneware suitable for indoor display.
Some of these unique pieces date back to the 16th century, providing ongoing testimony to the extraordinary craftsmanship of early European artists and artisans.
